How to Take the Perfect Photo for Your Custom Portrait

Getting a great portrait starts with a great photo. Follow these tips to make sure your artwork turns out exactly how you envision it.

✅ Do's

  • Use a high-resolution photo (at least 1MB)
  • Make sure the car is the main subject and clearly visible
  • Shoot in good natural lighting — outdoors works best
  • Capture the full car or the angle you want featured
  • Clean the car before shooting for best results

❌ Don'ts

  • Avoid blurry or low-quality images
  • Avoid photos taken at night or in poor lighting
  • Avoid photos where the car is partially hidden or cropped
  • Avoid heavy filters or edits on the photo

📐 Best Angles

  • Front 3/4 angle (most popular)
  • Side profile
  • Rear 3/4 angle
